With some metropolitan areas bringing back indoor masking requirements because of a surge in positive Covid tests (without a corresponding increase in hospitalization or death), it was nice to see that some areas have retained their sanity and even resumed some pre-pandemic practices that most of us took for granted. The little box of mints pictured here made me smile. It showed me that the long series of reactions and overreactions may be coming to an end and normal life may finally be returning. Mostly. Except for the deliberate loss of American energy dominance and finding out from MSNBC that after all these years I am racist, apparently born that way, and can’t do anything about it unless I change my gender or something. Not sure about that last part. We live in confusing times.
